The 7 Steps to Having More Money

Not having enough money has little to do with math or budgeting. We all know how to do that.

The reason most people lack money is because of their relationship and understanding of money, their feelings towards, and backwards thinking about it all.

By following my seven simple steps anyone can learn how to have more money regardless of their present circumstance.

The 7 steps to having more money are:

  1. Understanding why you want more: what will having more money do for you? What is it you really fear or desire? This is the crucial step in having more money.
  2. Understanding money: What is money and where does it come from? This isn't rocket science it is simply discovering a much more useful understanding of what money is and how it works in everyday life.
  3. Why do you want what you think you do? It turns out that what most people think they want is not what they really want. It starts with identifying what it is you think you want.
  4. What you really want: Now you know what you think you want the key is to discover what it is you really want. After completing this step people discover that what they really want is almost always different from what they thought they wanted.
  5. Real financial goals: Now you can set meaningful financial goals that will get you what you really want.
  6. Decreasing money outflows The first step in having more money is to prevent whatever money we do have from being wasted. Once real financial goals are discovered most people find they are wasting a fair amount of their money on things that are not helping them reach their goals.
  7. Increasing money inflows: There are many ways to increase the money flowing in. Unfortunately, the first step is to decrease the money flowing out. However, once that is done and we have more money left over every month there are several simple, low risk ways of increasing income.

Having more money is really all about changing your relationship with money and clearly understanding what it is you really want. Once that is done the rest tends to easily fall into place.
